An Evening with Stephenie Meyer

For the one or two of you left out there who don't know who Stephenie Meyer is, she is the author of the Twilight vampire book series. (Also, she was recently named one of Time's 100 Most Influential People for 2008.) She just had another book come out called The Host which is where my pics/story come in. Last week, my friends Kelli and Terri waited in line for over 4 hours at Barnes & Noble starting at 5:30 AM to buy this new book and with that receive a wristband to go to her book signing. Thanks girls for getting my book/wristband!! We had an awesome girls' night out! And, of course, a huge thanks to our sweet hubbies for watching the kids and letting us get out!

After this pic was taken, we were asked by some of the Barnes and Noble staff what high school we went too!! They were a little surprised when we told them we'd been out of high school for a decade and had kids at home! Ah...bless their hearts!
